Choose your range
Enter the first and last selectable dates. Both endpoints are valid, so a full month, year or project window works as entered.
A SIMPLE CALENDAR RANDOMIZER
Need a date picked at random? Use this random date generator to choose one or more dates from any range. Set the start and end dates, choose weekdays or weekends if needed, and copy a clear result without signing up or uploading a file.
SET YOUR RULES
The range is inclusive, so either endpoint can be selected.
YOUR RANDOM DATE
Copy one date or the complete list.
If your browser blocks clipboard access, select the text below and copy it manually.
Choose a valid range and select Generate random date to create a result.
The generator works locally in this browser. It does not need an account, upload, or external API.
This generator selects dates from the calendar range you enter. No date is sent to a calculation server.
A THREE-STEP WORKFLOW
This random date picker completes the task in one pass. Prefilled values show the full result path; adjust the range or rules when you need a different date.
Enter the first and last selectable dates. Both endpoints are valid, so a full month, year or project window works as entered.
Choose a quantity and day type: Any day, Weekdays only or Weekends only. Keep dates unique when each result must differ.
Select Generate random date. Each result shows its date, weekday, ISO value and Copy action; Copy all prepares the list for another app.
Review the range, format and weekday rule before using the date in a schedule, test fixture, activity or planning document.
PRACTICAL DATE OPTIONS
A date randomizer should express your real constraint, not return an unexplained value. These controls cover common random date and random day generator tasks.
From date and To date define all possible results. January 1 through January 31 includes both boundary dates.
Weekdays means Monday through Friday; weekends means Saturday or Sunday. Filtering happens before selection, so every result follows your rule.
Generate one result or a batch of up to 100 for test data, event slots, classroom prompts or content calendars. The count appears above the list.
Long dates are easy to read. MM/DD/YYYY and DD/MM/YYYY suit regional workflows; YYYY-MM-DD is easy to sort in spreadsheets, databases and tests.
EXAMPLES YOU CAN REUSE
Use the same random date generator for a quick choice or structured batch. Change the constraints that matter, then copy the output format you need.
Set January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, leave Number of dates at 1 and choose Any day. The result comes from the full inclusive year.
Choose two months, set 10 dates, select Weekdays only and keep unique results on. You get ten different Monday-to-Friday dates when enough weekdays exist.
Choose YYYY-MM-DD and generate a batch. Paste each ISO date into a spreadsheet, JSON fixture, SQL seed or QA checklist; the weekday remains visible for a quick check.
CALENDAR LOGIC AND PRIVACY
The date generator uses calendar dates, not time-of-day timestamps. This keeps results clear and avoids timezone or daylight-saving shifts.
Start and end dates are included. A one-day range has one eligible result, so a unique request for one date works without special handling.
Valid February 29 dates work when they fall inside the range. Formatting does not pass the result through local midnight.
Web Crypto values are used when available, with a normal fallback when needed. This suits planning and examples, not cryptographic security or legal randomness.
The range, filters and results are processed in the page. This release has no account, upload or date-generation API, and does not put dates in a URL.
WHEN A RANDOM DATE HELPS
Random selection helps when the range is known but people should not choose by habit. Keep the reason and rules visible when others or records are affected.
Choose a classroom, giveaway, reading, creative or event date. Show the same range and rules to everyone who needs to understand the choice.
Create dates for forms, reports, calendars and validation tests without reusing familiar values. YYYY-MM-DD is convenient for fixtures, tables and API examples.
Generate a workday for planning or a weekend date for an event. The filter applies the constraint before selection.
Pick a historical or future day for a story, lesson, archive review or content idea. You still decide whether surrounding facts are accurate.
A date picker, not a date-of-birth tool
This homepage chooses dates from a defined range. A random date of birth generator has different privacy and age-related intent, while date-and-time rules belong in a separate future tool.
KNOW THE LIMITS
The generator is deliberately transparent: it chooses dates, applies the filters you request and formats the output. It does not verify the business, legal or historical meaning of the date after it is selected.
Do not use a generated date as a password, one-time token, cryptographic seed, access code or substitute for a security-focused random source.
A weekday is not automatically a working day in every country or organization. Check holidays, closures, time zones, availability and local calendars before booking anything.
This generator chooses a date only. It does not choose hours, minutes, time zones or daylight-saving transitions, so use a dedicated date-and-time workflow when those details matter.
Keep the selected range, rule and output if another person needs to reproduce the decision. A browser result alone is not an audit trail or proof of a contractual selection.
COMMON QUESTIONS
These answers explain the range, filters, formats, uniqueness and privacy behavior behind the date randomizer.
A random date generator selects one or more calendar dates from a range you define. You choose the first and last possible dates, optional weekday rules and an output format, then the tool returns dates that match those settings.
Yes. Enter the From date and To date, then choose Generate random date. Both endpoints are included, so the start date and end date can each appear in the result when they match the selected day type.
Yes. Set Number of dates from 1 to 100. Keep dates unique is enabled by default so one batch will not repeat the same calendar date unless you turn that option off.
Yes. Day type supports Any day, Weekdays only and Weekends only. The filter is applied before random selection, which means every successful result follows the rule you selected.
It depends on Keep dates unique. When the option is on, the generator samples without replacement and each date appears at most once in the current batch. When it is off, repeated dates are allowed.
The tool supports a readable long date such as November 18, 2026, MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY and the sortable YYYY-MM-DD format. Choose the format that matches the people or system receiving the result.
The core calculation runs in the browser. No upload, account or external date-generation API is required, and the tool does not intentionally send your selected dates to a server. Normal browser, hosting, analytics and advertising technologies may have their own data practices, which are explained in the Privacy Policy.
No. A date is predictable and this tool is designed for planning, examples, activities and test data. Use a dedicated security-focused generator for passwords, tokens, secrets or other sensitive credentials.
READY TO PICK A DATE?
Set the range, choose the rule that matters and keep the output format clear. The random date generator stays focused on one useful task so your result is quick to review and easy to copy.
